    Our 2018 fundraising campaign is currently underway. As we celebrate the 24th anniversary of this organization, we have set a very aggressive goal to provide holiday food baskets for 2,000 families. The families are chosen based on information provided by The Washington, DC Department of Human Services, The Maryland Department of Social Services and other area community-based organizations. We are requesting that your organization consider becoming a sponsor for this year's program.

    Once again we partnered with we partnered our sister organization We Feed Our People to support the Children of Mine Youth Center in Southeast Washington, DC through the 3rd Annual Back 2 School Backpack and School Supply Drive on 8.18.2018. This year we were able to provide over 250 backpacks complete with grade appropriate supplies.     In 1995, a few friends got together and made Thanksgiving a little brighter by delivering grocery baskets to six families. Twenty-one years later, those few friends have grown to hundreds of charitable volunteers aiming to distribute over 2,000 healthy food baskets and other necessities to local families in need. As you begin to finalize your plans for the Thanksgiving holiday. I invite you to partner with us on November 21, 2015, as we make a difference in our community through Project GiveBack's 21st Annual Thanksgiving Food Distribution.
