Thank you for your willingness to Join us as we make a difference in our community by providing 3,000 grocery baskets to needy families in DC, MD, and VA. Your information has been added to our database. Please consider encouraging your friends and family to support this effort in the following ways:

 

Make a financial contribution 

We spend about $60 on each family. Though there is no limit on individual giving, individual contributions range from $50 to $1,000.  Corporate contributions range from $500 to $25,000. Supporters can donate online atwww.projectgiveback.org/donate/ or mail checks payable to:

Our goal is to have all donations in by 11.1.2021 if possible.  If donating online, please consider adding an additional amount to cover the 2.5% processing fee.

 

Encourage your friends to Volunteer 

As you know we have shifts at 7:30am (basket assembly) and 10:00am (basket delivery) on 11.20.2021. They can register online now at www.projectgiveback.org.

 

Solicit individual and corporate sponsors on behalf of the project 

Solicitation letters can be obtained by emailing ransom@projectgiveback.org.  Historically, individuals who have requested that their companies sponsor Project GiveBack have yielded outstanding results.

 

Coordinate a canned food drive in your office/organization/school 

The canned foods will supplement the grocery baskets provided to our larger families. Food items collected should be delivered to the headquarters on 11.20.2021 no later than 7:00am.  To facilitate a canned food drive please email wendy@projectgiveback.org

 

Coordinate a fundraiser on behalf of the project 

Please contact ransom@projectgiveback.org to discuss recommended fundraisers.  Successful fundraisers include The Goodman League Basketball All Star Charity Game, the Golf with Cuban Celebrity Golf Tournament and the Up In Smoke Cigar Networking Reception. In home fundraisers have also proven to be very productive.

 

Send out promotional email/social media blasts 

A personal solicitation on behalf of the organization has proven to yield outstanding results on the donation and volunteer fronts. It also helps with overall awareness. Ask your friends to follow us on twitter @projectgiveback and like us on facebook.com/projectgiveback.  Sending our messages to your social networks allows us to reach people we would never be able to reach.  Please consider being one of our Social Media Champions.
